When a 75 year old man commits suicide in front of a speeding train because he lost a big chunk of his billions, while still holding on to $8 billions, it makes you feel quite certain that Heaven and Hell are not interglactic locations but rather our own states of minds. I bet what he left behind would have made the heavens (at least momentarily) for a lot of people. But at least the old man got out of his misery, even if it was all self created. Bulk of our pains are self inflicted and we don't even know that, until something like this hits you and even then the realization is only fleeting. It will have no impact on our constitution unless we take time out to re-evaluate and readjust thoughtfully. There is no point in killing yourself just because you have only 8 Billion Dollars. Knowing that, what we think is dependent upon who we are rather than any objective reality out there. And that thought can be very empowering. It can re-set us completely and help us question all your choices, decisions, and actions. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28522036/ns/business-world_business/t/billio...

This is some great wisdom. That 75 year old man may have felt like he was losing a lot, but it's all about perspective. Even for those who are living in poverty in our country, they still probably have more money than someone in a third-world country who has to rely on the resources of their community and charitable organizations to live another day. In this life, as long as I can make a comfortable, living wage, with people I love, that's all I want and that's all any of us should want.

We should never underestimate the power of money. You might think you have enough money, but how long is that money going to last, when you account for paying all of your bills and taxes year after year? Better to have too much money than not enough. Just imagine how much money in taxes a person would have to pay on 8 billion dollars. We're losing money all the time, whether we like it or not. Obviously suicide is not the answer, but we should take every measure possible to protect our assets.

Suicide is not a solution!!! Sometimes when we loose something precious or something achieved with great difficulty we become hopeless and do not appear in proper state to mind!!! Condition of that 75 year old man would be the same. For him he lost his hard earned money and this shock would be the reason of his death. True that poor people also live but rich have made their own standards. Personally This all depends of an individual's thought and living. Old man's would have committed suicide to get free from his troubles but that's completely wrong...
